In landscape photography, the best images are often shot during golden or blue hour. Flowers on the other hand are a very forgiving subject in that sense. You can shoot them at any time of the day, provided you have enough sunlight to make the flowers open. But if you do, they are one of the most elegant subjects you can photograph. Like this crocus catching the last sunlight of the day. I shot this one after a sunny winter day in the local city park. The sun already disappeared behind the houses around the park, but after a long and cold winter this little one was still enjoying the early spring vibes.
